OOTechnologies is a growing tech company that focuses on automation, data workflows, and AI-driven solutions for clients worldwide. We are looking for an intern who has hands-on experience in scripting and web scraping, and wants to work on real-world automation projects.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Web Scraping and Automation Intern who has practical experience with scripting, browser automation, and scraping tools. This position is ideal for freshers who have already practiced scraping on their own and want to move into professional client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build scrapers and crawling scripts for targeted websites
  • Automate browser actions using tools like Playwright or Puppeteer
  • Work with libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Cheerio, Selenium or similar
  • Handle challenges like captchas, dynamic content, infinite scroll and authentication
  • Extract and clean data, and export it in structured formats
  • Debug and maintain scripts for consistent performance

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Python or
  • Experience with Playwright, Puppeteer or Selenium
  • Familiarity with scraping libraries like BeautifulSoup, Requests, Cheerio or similar
  • Understanding of proxies, sessions, user agents and captchas
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean scripts

Good to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with captcha-solving services such as 2Captcha or CapMonster
  • Basic knowledge of APIs and JSON
  • Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
