About the Role:

We are seeking a Data Research Specialist to support our business development and marketing teams through accurate data collection, lead generation, and database management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in identifying and building Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), web scraping, and using modern data enrichment tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted data research to identify potential leads and build ICP-based contact lists.
  • Utilize tools like Apollo, Sales Navigator, Clay, Seamless, Adapt, Lusha, Lead411, and Skrapp for data extraction and enrichment.
  • Perform web scraping using Apify or custom scripts to gather relevant market and company data.
  • Maintain and manage structured data in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
  • Verify and clean contact lists using tools like NeverBounce and ZeroBounce.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on ICP criteria and lead quality.
  • Monitor data accuracy, identify gaps, and implement improvements in data quality processes.
  • Stay updated on new data sourcing tools, automation trends, and best practices in lead research.

Requirements:

  • 1.5 – 2.5 years of experience in data research, lead generation, or web scraping.
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP).
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets for data organization and reporting.
  • Familiarity with data enrichment and scraping tools such as Apollo, Clay, Apify, and others.
  • Understanding of email verification and data hygiene practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, IT Services, or Tech industries.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive) is a plus.
  • Understanding of data automation workflows (e.g., via Zapier or Make).
