About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our blockchain team. As part of our QA department, you will ensure the reliability, functionality, and security of our blockchain-based products, ranging from smart contracts to decentralized applications (dApps) and backend services. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to test cutting-edge blockchain solutions and help us deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Execution
  • Assist in creating and executing manual and automated test cases.
  • Validate blockchain transactions, APIs, and smart contract functionalities.
  • Conduct UI/UX testing for Web3 applications.

Quality Assurance

  • Identify, document, and track bugs or inconsistencies across platforms.
  • Ensure security, performance, and functional testing is carried out.
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Collaboration

  • Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide feedback to improve overall software quality and user experience.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 0–2 years of QA or software testing experience (internships or personal projects acceptable).

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with blockchain concepts (wallets, smart contracts, Ethereum, Bitcoin, or Layer-2s).
  • Basic understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, performance).
  • Hands-on experience with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues).
  • Some exposure to automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Jest).
  • Knowledge of APIs and tools like Postman for testing blockchain endpoints.

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
