Job Description

As a QA Manual Tester for a London-based company, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the quality of bespoke software across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions with a strong focus on a "quality-first" approach.

What we need from you

  • 1–2 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA concepts, and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in Web Application & API Testing.
  • Knowledge of defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, TFS, or similar).
  • Ability to create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
  • Exposure to regression, functional, and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server and understanding of databases.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • A can-do, self-driven attitude with eagerness to learn and grow.

Nice to have (but not required):

  • Familiarity with .NET and Angular applications.
  • Exposure to automation tools or DevOps practices.
  • Basic understanding of performance or load testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
