Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler (Infrastructure)
with expertise in
Civil 3D utility networks
. Unlike BIM Modelers focused on
buildings & facilities (architectural, structural, and MEP systems)
, this role is centered on
infrastructure design
, particularly external
wet and dry utilities
.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating
Civil 3D-based BIM models
for infrastructure projects involving
pressurized and gravity pipe networks, stormwater, sewer, potable water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage
    Civil 3D BIM models
    for wet (water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation) and dry (electrical, telecom) utility networks.
  • Interpret and model
    utility networks
    based on design drawings, survey data, and project specifications.
  • Ensure
    clash detection and coordination
    with other infrastructure elements (roads, bridges, landscapes) rather than building MEP systems.
  • Produce and manage
    detailed drawings, profiles, and sections
    for external utility layouts.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, utility designers, and project teams to ensure models meet project requirements.
  • Prepare
    AutoCAD drawings and as-built documentation
    where required.
  • Adhere to company BIM standards, workflows, and project execution plans.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in
    BIM modeling for infrastructure projects
    (utilities, roads, external networks).
  • Proficiency in
    Autodesk Civil 3D
    with strong skills in utility network modeling.
  • Working knowledge of
    AutoCAD drafting
    (required for plan/profile sheets, details, etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    BIM collaboration platforms
    and coordination practices.
  • Ability to read and understand civil/utility design drawings.
