Key Responsibilities

  • Write, test, and validate Python scripts/applications to support data and research workflows.
  • Conduct peer reviews of datasets, code, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with researchers, annotators, and engineers to refine processes and improve data quality.
  • Assist in dataset versioning and ensure adherence to data security/privacy guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (fresh graduates with strong projects, internships, or research experience encouraged).
  • 0–2 years of practical experience
     writing Python code (academic projects, internships, or professional roles).
  • Solid understanding of Python fundamentals
    : OOP, data structures, exception handling, file I/O.
  • Ability to
    test, run, and validate Python applications
    .
  • Comfortable reading and extending existing codebases, with
    basic debugging and testing skills
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Git/version control workflows
     (branching, commits, resolving merge conflicts).
  • Hands-on experience with at least
    one Python library
     (examples: pandas, numpy, requests); exposure to testing frameworks (unittest/pytest) is a plus.
  • Preferred for 1-2 years of experience:
    Exposure to concurrency/async programming (threading, multiprocessing, asyncio) and debugging memory/concurrency issues.
  • Strong written communication, with the ability to write clear documentation and evaluation rationales.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow annotation/evaluation guidelines precisely.
