Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead our AI Engineering team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), ML Ops, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). This role requires both technical depth and leadership ability to drive innovation, oversee project delivery, and mentor engineers.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions across Generative AI, LLMs, ML Ops, and NLP.


• Manage and mentor a team of AI engineers and data scientists.


• Oversee end-to-end ML lifecycle including data preparation, model training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.


• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.


• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI systems in production.


• Drive adoption of best practices in ML Ops, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and governance.


• Stay updated with emerging AI research and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to business needs.


• Provide technical guidance on architecture, frameworks, and tools for AI projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.


• 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.


• Strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI and LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, or similar).


• Proficiency in ML Ops tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).


• Solid understanding of NLP techniques and frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, spaCy, NLTK).


• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).


• Proven experience in deploying and scaling AI models in production environments.


• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:


• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for AI/ML workloads.


• Knowledge of data engineering and pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).


• Familiarity with responsible AI practices, including bias detection and model explainability.


• Track record of delivering AI solutions that drive measurable business impact.
