Role Overview
The Microsoft Practice Lead is responsible for building, leading, and scaling the Microsoft services practice, with full P&L accountability and strategic ownership. This role is central to defining and delivering the Microsoft business plan across cloud, modern workplace, security, and business applications, while ensuring alignment with Microsoft's partner ecosystem and solution designation growth roadmap. The Practice Lead will drive both technical excellence and commercial success across Microsoft platforms including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform

Job Responsibilities:
- Define and own the Microsoft practice's strategic and financial business plan, including full P&L accountability.
- Drive growth in revenue, profitability, and market share in line with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and maintain Microsoft Solution Partner Designations and Specializations (Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation, Infrastructure, Security, Business Applications).
- Manage Microsoft Sell Authorizations and ensure compliance with Microsoft partner programs and incentive frameworks.
- Collaborate with leadership to align the Microsoft practice roadmap with organizational goals and Microsoft's partner strategy.
- Provide solution architecture guidance and ensure high-quality delivery across all Microsoft engagements.
- Lead capability development across Azure, M365, D365, Power Platform, and emerging Microsoft technologies.
- Maintain technical and strategic alignment with Microsoft's evolving cloud offerings and partner go-to-market plans.
- Engage with Microsoft engineering and product teams to advocate for client needs and innovation.
- Lead or support pre-sales efforts including solution design, bid management, RFPs, and executive presentations.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and demand generation plans for Microsoft offerings.
- Establish strong relationships with Microsoft field teams, Partner Account Managers, and Global Partner Solutions teams to support co-selling and deal acceleration.
- Expand footprint within existing accounts and identify new revenue streams within Microsoft's cloud ecosystem.
- Ensure successful delivery of Microsoft engagements by working closely with project managers, architects, and consultants.
- Develop delivery methodologies and reusable assets aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
- Proactively manage risks, escalations, and client satisfaction.
- Build delivery capacity through recruitment, onboarding, and continuous skills development of team members.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Partner Programs, Solution Designation tiers, Sell Authorizations, and associated incentive models.
- Strong solution design knowledge for Microsoft cloud platforms.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or Computer Engineering
- Masters in Strategy, Technology Leadership, or International Business (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Modern Work Expert, or Additional certifications in Business Development, Program Management or Regional Governance are advantageous
- 8–10 years of experience in IT consulting, with at least 3–5 years in a Microsoft-focused leadership role.
- Strong experience with Microsoft's cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform).
- Proven ability to manage a P&L, deliver growth targets, and execute on strategic plans.
- Prior experience working at or with a Microsoft Partner organization (preferred).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in a consulting or services environment (preferred).
- Familiarity with Microsoft's co-sell, IP co-sell, or ISV success models (preferred).
- Industry-specific solution experience in Financial Services, Public Sector, Healthcare, or Manufacturing (preferred).
