Sr. Executive Product Development A2P Messaging

Job Purpose:

• The primary objective is to lead the development and operations of corporate bulk SMS, support internal sales teams to generate new revenues streams, develop new features in corporate bulk SMS's platform, conduct market research, support/track presale activities, and support interdepartmental coordination to launch new products, drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own the entire product portfolio lifecycle, including defining and managing product policies, vendor contracts, payments, pricing strategies, traffic and financial performance reporting.
• Develop and execute the product roadmap aligned with business goals and market demands, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations, IT, Digital technologies, and Legal to align product capabilities with business and regulatory requirements. ·
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to proactively identify opportunities and threats; translate insights into actionable product enhancements. ·
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and service levels to optimize cost and quality. ·
• Lead the creation of business proposals, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies to support sales efforts and maximize product adoption and revenue growth. ·
• Manage regular performance reporting and KPI tracking, providing data-driven insights to senior management to guide strategic decisions. · Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and privacy policies related to messaging services.
• Drive operational excellence by streamlining business processes, leveraging automation, and improving system integrations to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external clients, ensuring product features and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Champion customer-centric innovation by soliciting feedback and fostering an environment of continuous product evolution.
• Oversee and coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address any product or service issues swiftly and effectively.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Telecom, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2-5 years proven experience in A2P messaging platforms
• Prior experience of working in charging platforms, A2P Messaging environment
• Telecom experience in the same filed will be preferred.

• Strong techno-commercial acumen with a deep understanding of latest A2P SMS technologies and processes, Example: SMPP connectivity, RCS Messaging etc.
• Proven experience in product management within telecommunications, messaging platforms, or related technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of A2P messaging technologies, regulatory environments, and bulk SMS operations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with financial modeling, pricing strategies, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with charging systems and software integrations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue/sales targets.
• Fast learner; can understand product descriptions and key selling points quickly.
• Self-motivated and passion for solving customer challenges.
• Experience in performing the UAT of the solutions/platform, A2P messaging UAT is plus
• Excellent knowledge of industry developments related to innovative and emerging technologies, particularly in the A2P Messaging ·
• Familiarity with A2P Messaging protocols such as SMPP, SS7 and HTTPs
