Job Description:

The Head of Carrier Relations at CEQUENS is responsible for leading the company's global and regional partnerships with mobile network operators (MNOs) and telecom groups, ensuring strategic alignment with CEQUENS' mission to bridge communication gaps through an innovative CPaaS platform.

This role drives the A2P SMS monetization strategy, strengthens direct connectivity, and builds collaborative initiatives with MNOs to enhance service quality, customer experience, and revenue growth. The position requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, strategic vision, and in-depth understanding of telecom and CPaaS ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute CEQUENS' carrier relations and partnership strategy, focusing on expanding direct connectivity and enhancing the CPaaS value chain.
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with MNOs and telcos across key markets to support A2P monetization and omni-channel service delivery.
  • Negotiate and optimize commercial and interconnect agreements to ensure competitive pricing, profitability, and service reliability.
  • Identify new business models and revenue opportunities through joint solutions, CPaaS integrations, and telco collaborations.
  • Support regulatory and compliance discussions to align with local telecom frameworks and best practices.
  • Work closely with product and commercial teams to integrate carrier capabilities into CEQUENS' CPaaS offering, enhancing the end-user experience.
  • Monitor traffic performance, route quality, and partner satisfaction to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in carrier relations, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, particularly within the A2P International CPaaS

Education

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, or related field; Master's degree preferred

Skills:

  • Proven experience in carrier relations, business development, or a related role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of mobile network operations, technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the International A2P SMS & MNO Partnerships globally
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required for client meetings, conferences, and partnership development.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
