Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Associate Technical Sales Engineer to assist in preparing sales proposals, coordinating with engineering teams, and supporting client engagement. This role serves as a foundation for growth into a full Technical Sales Engineer position, focusing on learning and contributing to sales processes in the specialized vehicle industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and documentation for tenders.
  • Coordinate with engineering and production teams for technical data and customization support.
  • Support senior sales engineers in meetings, client follow-ups, and technical discussions.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of products, specifications, and applications.
  • Help manage client communications and resolve basic technical inquiries.
  • Maintain organized sales records, proposals, and customer interaction logs.
  • Support in event participation and product demonstrations.
  • Monitor and report market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
  • Learn government tendering procedures and proposal compliance requirements.
  • Ensure timely internal coordination for project execution and delivery tracking.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (B.E/B.S)
  • 0–2 years of experience in technical or sales-related roles (automotive industry preferred)
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a sales-engineering role
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits as required
