Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a high-rise building project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale vertical construction projects and possess a deep understanding of high-rise construction logistics, sequencing, safety, and compliance. You will be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of the construction process, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the overall planning, scheduling, and coordination of a high-rise building construction project.
  • Oversee site preparation, foundation work, vertical structure erection, MEP integration, façade systems, and fit-out stages.
  • Coordinate crane operations, hoisting logistics, and high-elevation work sequencing.
  • Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications in collaboration with architects and engineers.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

  • Direct daily operations of site staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure proper workforce planning, materials delivery, and equipment usage across multiple floors simultaneously.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for developers, consultants, and regulatory agencies.

Quality, Safety & Compliance:

  • Implement strict quality control procedures across all phases of construction.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational safety standards and fall protection protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and enforce corrective measures as needed.

Budget & Schedule Control:

  • Monitor project expenditures, change orders, and resource allocations to maintain budgetary goals.
  • Prepare and manage look-ahead schedules, project milestones, and critical path activities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential delays or cost overruns through proactive planning and decision-making.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, inspection logs, and safety documentation.
  • Provide weekly progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate inspections with local authorities and manage all permitting and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or DAE Civil
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3–5 years in high-rise or vertical construction.
  • Proven track record delivering high-rise buildings (20+ stories) on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of structural systems, concrete formwork, MEP coordination, elevator systems, curtain walls, and vertical logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED AP.
  • Experience with urban high-rise construction in dense city environments.
  • Familiarity with international building codes, safety regulations, and green building practices.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily based on-site at a high-rise construction project.
  • Requires the use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures in high-risk, high-altitude environments.
  • May involve extended hours, weekend work, or night shifts depending on project demands.
