About the Role: Assistant Manager Procurement

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project timelines.

· Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely availability of materials.

· Review purchase requisitions (PRs) from sites and departments, verify technical specifications, and ensure approval processes are followed.

· Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve best-value procurement while maintaining quality standards.

· Issue purchase orders (POs), monitor order status, and ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.

· Coordinate closely with the Finance and Store teams for invoice verification, payment processing, and inventory control.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors to ensure consistent supply and performance.

· Monitor and track market trends, material price fluctuations, and availability to make informed purchasing decisions.

· Maintain updated procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation in the ERP or procurement management system.

· Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

· Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Teams to forecast material requirements and avoid shortages or overstocking.

· Evaluate supplier performance through periodic review based on quality, cost, and delivery parameters.

· Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through process improvement, bulk purchasing, and strategic vendor partnerships. · Prepare procurement status reports and present updates to senior management.

· Perform any other task assigned by the management.

Location: Onsite - Lahore

Working Days: Mon - Sat ( 9am - 6pm)

Salary: Market Competitive
