Descon Engineering Construction Division Pakistan is seeking an experienced Manager QA/QC to oversee quality operations at a key project site Mari Energies in Sindh. This crucial leadership position requires in-depth quality knowledge and hands-on experience in managing quality systems for complex projects.

Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Control Procedures (QCPs) in line with project contracts and specifications.

  • Managing QA/QC teams and inspection equipment based on project requirements and budget.

  • Ensuring effective execution of key quality activities while monitoring costs and performance.

  • Reporting quality-related risks or budget discrepancies to Project or Site Management and escalating to the Business Unit Head when necessary.

  • Supervising on-site quality inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and standards.

  • Assisting in material inspections alongside site and stores teams.

  • Maintaining thorough documentation following company quality management systems.

  • Addressing client inquiries regarding QA/QC promptly and professionally.

  • Tracking and resolving Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Preventive Action Requests (PARs).

  • Monitoring rejection/rework rates, analyzing root causes, and identifying improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Upholding Descon's HSE, Wellness, and DEL policies to foster a culture of safety and accountability.

  • Ensuring adherence to company QA/QC standards and DIMS documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field preferred).

  • 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects.

  • Profound knowledge of construction practices, inspection methods, and international quality standards.

  • Strong leadership abilities to manage teams and drive performance.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Dedication to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
