  • Adequate risk assessment skills for automated systems/applications, workflows, and processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Team Leader in preparation of Engagement Plan, updating the Audit checklist in line with risks associated with the auditee, and selection of items for testing.
  • Perform audits of assigned areas in line with the Engagement Plan under supervision of the Team Leader.
  • Perform audit tests as per the audit checklist on samples selected for testing.
  • Perform audit tests not part of the audit checklist, required by specific areas or situations, and draft exceptions accordingly.
  • Perform audit tests on increased samples where the exception rate exceeds risk tolerance.
  • Recommend new audit tests and exceptions for inclusion in the Audit Checklist, wherever required.
  • Discuss audit findings with the auditee under the supervision of the Team Leader, if required.
  • Draft audit reports for audit engagements.
  • Support the Team Leader in preparing and submitting various information/progress reports to line control.
  • Prepare working papers of audited areas, supported by sufficient and appropriate audit evidence to corroborate audit activities performed during audit engagements and support conclusions reached.
  • Carry out inspections, investigations, examinations, or reviews as assigned.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by line management.

Qualification:

Four (04) years Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Sciences or a relevant degree from an HEC-recognized university/institute. Professional qualification/certification (CAF, ACCA, ACMA, CIA, or CISA) is preferred.
