The
Audit Manager
is responsible for leading and executing internal audit activities across the manufacturing operations. This includes assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and evaluating operational efficiency across production, supply chain, procurement, sales, and quality control functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan, focusing on high-risk areas within manufacturing, procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Perform risk assessments related to raw materials, production yield, inventory losses, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging risks in the supply chain and production operations.
  • Lead audits across manufacturing plants, warehouses, and distribution centers.
  • Evaluate controls over key processes such as production scheduling, quality assurance, batch reconciliation, raw material usage, and finished goods inventory.
  • Ensure controls around cost accounting, waste management, and capacity utilization are operating effectively.
  • Prepare clear and actionable audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Present audit results to senior management and drive follow-up on action plans.
  • Track and report the implementation status of agreed recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards (e.g., food safety regulations, GMP, ISO, HACCP, local tax laws).
  • Assess controls around health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to beverage manufacturing.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as
    CIA
    ,
    CA
    ,
    CPA
    , or
    ACCA
    are preferred.
  • 6–10 years of progressive audit experience, including at least 2–3 years in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong understanding of production and inventory control systems.
  • Prior experience auditing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
