Job Description Summary:

Master Planner is responsible for developing and executing efficient production & inventory plans to ensure the uninterrupted supply of concentrates & beverage base to meet customer demand. This role manages the balance between supply and demand, optimizes inventory levels, and leverages digital tools to enhance planning accuracy. The position requires close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams and in some cases external partners to maintain service levels, reduce waste, deploy transformational projects and support operational excellence.

What You'll Do for Us

  • Develop yearly, monthly, and weekly production plans in alignment with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) volumes and available plant capacity.
  • Lead the Master Production Schedule (MPS) process to align short-term manufacturing activities with operational needs.
  • Produce, own and present achievable SPP to CPS Leadership team after pre SPP reviews.
  • Regularly conduct capacity planning by assisting P&L manager in evaluating capacities & ensuring that potential bottlenecks are identified, and necessary actions are taken.
  • Monitor and track daily production plan execution with Area Managers, assessing any deviations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare reporting for CPS LT on weekly production progress & SC KPIs.
  • Act as a power user of the Production Planning Module, ensuring optimal utilization of digital planning tools.
  • Support product portfolio and customer teams with new product introductions (NPI) with aligned production and supply requirements.
  • Improve operating efficiency, plant utilization and packaging rationalization by reducing areas of material wastage and/or line inefficiency.
  • Participate in the development of productivity enhancements for the operations and warehouse areas.
  • Manage finished goods and ingredients inventory policies, ensuring alignment of short- and long-term plans with targets; analyse and implement mitigation actions to optimize inventory values
  • Own inventory management and governance to facilitate material schedulers ensuring uninterrupted supply.
  • Responsible for Material review board (MRB) process to manage inventory write-offs and potential exposures. Proposing & evaluating mitigation strategies to avoid exposures resulting from forecast variations & providing timely inputs to customer service & key stakeholders to take timely decisions.
  • Create and maintain SOPs in line with KORE company standards for relevant business areas.
  • Own & monitor Planning & supply chain metrics for CPS site.
  • Extending Support to cross functional teams with master data health & validations including BOMs for effective production planning & material requirement generation.
  • Developing & maintaining local dashboards for analysing data to aid in proactive decision making.
  • BP Planning- Lead high-level manufacturing and inventory planning during the annual planning cycle, balancing production capacity with inventory targets.
  • Leverage deployed company tools such as SAP IBP, Dynamic Scheduling, control tower to drive operational excellence in planning activities. Supporting P&L Manager with deployment of digital & transformational tools as per global timelines.
  • Prepare and support for Audit and local reporting where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 03-05 years of strong experience in a planning role – with FMCG experience preferred
  • University / bachelor's degree, master's degree will be an added advantage.
  • Lean & 6 Sigma experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience in SAP, excel & presentations. Power Bi & PowerApps experience will be an added advantage.
