Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Highway Design Engineer located in the Lahore District. The Highway Design Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of highway and roadway projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed highway designs, ensuring compliance with all design standards and specifications, and collaborating with the project team. Additionally, the role includes developing drainage systems, coordinating with transportation planners, and addressing technical challenges in roadway and highway engineering.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Highway Design, Roadway Design, and Highway Engineering
  • Expertise in Drainage Design and related hydrological systems
  • Experience in Transportation Planning and its applications in infrastructure projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of design standards
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous experience in infrastructure and highway projects is preferred but not mandatory
