Position Impact:

Sr. DevOps Engineer manage cloud infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines, and enhance security for IT solutions. You will ensure high availability, scalability, and security by leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevSecOps practices. The role involves optimizing deployments, mentoring teams, and driving process improvements to ensure seamless software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure & Cloud Management

  • Architect and manage AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure to ensure high availability and cost optimization.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Design and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized workloads with Docker.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

2. CI/CD & Automation

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes for faster software delivery.
  • Implement GitOps practices to ensure consistency and traceability.
  • Integrate automated testing, security scans, and compliance checks into pipelines.

3. Security & Compliance

  • Implement DevSecOps best practices, ensuring security at every stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Manage IAM, role-based access controls (RBAC), and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
  • Perform vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and enforce security policies.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.

4. Collaboration & Process Optimization

  • Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices.
  • Implement observability strategies, ensuring system uptime and performance.
  • Establish incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
  • Experience with observability tools (New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus).
  • Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and CDN.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the IT industry.
  • Knowledge of microservices, serverless architectures, and API gateways.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate.
