About the Role:

We are seeking a AWS Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Generative AI (GenAI), conversational AI, and voice bot development to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of next-generation AI-powered voice systems.

This role blends technical leadership with hands-on engineering you'll define system architecture, guide a cross-functional team, and directly contribute to building and optimising our AI voice agent products.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 6+ years in software engineering/solutions architecture.
  • 3+ years in conversational AI, voice bot development, or AI-driven telephony solutions.
  • Proven experience integrating STT, TTS, and LLMs into production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design:

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture for GenAI-driven voice applications, from telephony integration to AI model orchestration.
  • Design scalable, low-latency architectures for real-time AI voice interactions.
  • Define API contracts, integration patterns, and data pipelines.AI Voice Bot Development:
  • Implement and optimise Speech-to-Text (STT), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), and Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems.
  • Integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama) into conversational flows.
  • Ensure multi-language support and natural voice delivery.Generative AI Solutions:
  • Apply LLMs and prompt engineering for dynamic conversation handling.
  • Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases.
  • Implement safety, compliance, and bias mitigation in AI outputs.Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team (AI/ML engineers, backend developers, DevOps).
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and business teams to align technical solutions with customer needs.

Hands-On Development:

  • Contribute to coding, prototyping, and POCs.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in AI pipelines.
  • Stay on top of emerging AI frameworks, SDKs, and APIs.Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work with enterprise clients to gather requirements and translate them into scalable AI architectures.
  • Provide technical documentation, solution diagrams, and best practice guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect
  • Experience with multilingual AI systems (especially low-resource languages).
  • Familiarity with Generative AI safety and compliance in telecom/regulatory contexts.
  • Background in customer support automation or AI contact centre platforms.
