The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Data Specialist
to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be to
transform marketing data into clear, compelling, and actionable Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards
. You will be the bridge between our raw data and the strategic decisions made by our marketing and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Transformation & Modeling:
    Connect, clean, transform, and model data from various marketing sources (e.g., social media platforms, ad platforms, Google Analytics, CRM systems).
  • BI Dashboard Development:
    Design, build, and maintain intuitive and performance-driven BI dashboards and reports (e.g., in Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.).
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the dashboards and troubleshoot any discrepancies or data quality issues.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    Work closely with the Marketing and Leadership teams to understand their key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting needs, translating business questions into technical data solutions.
  • Optimization & Automation:
    Identify opportunities to automate data pipelines and reporting processes to increase efficiency and speed.
  • Data Storytelling:
    Present key data insights and findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, helping drive strategic marketing decisions.

QualificationsRequired

  • Proven experience in
    data analysis, data modeling, and business intelligence reporting
    , ideally within a marketing or digital context.
  • Expert proficiency with at least one major
    BI tool
    (e.g.,
    Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio
    ).
  • Strong command of
    SQL
    for querying and manipulating data.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing data sources, metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks, conversions, ROI, CPA), and platform APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience with
    Python or R
    for data manipulation or statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
  • Experience in setting up and managing ETL/ELT processes.
