On behalf of our client, We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager / Supervisor to join their audit and assurance practice. The role involves supervising audit teams, ensuring compliance with professional standards, supporting client relationships, and contributing to the overall quality of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize statutory audits, review engagements, and other assurance assignments in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and firm policies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring proper task allocation, coaching, and on-the-job training.
  • Review working papers, audit evidence, and documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with regulatory requirements and firm standards.
  • Identify audit risks and propose practical, effective solutions.
  • Liaise with clients to manage audit requirements, resolve queries, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Prepare draft financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS, IAS, and applicable local laws.
  • Maintain effective communication with managers and partners, keeping them updated on engagement progress and challenges.
  • Assist in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethical standards, independence requirements, and firm policies at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified or Finalist Chartered Accountant (ICAP / ACCA / Equivalent).
  • Completed articles (preferably from a Big 4 firm).
  • 3–4 years of relevant audit and assurance experience in a reputable CA firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and local corporate laws.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership qualities with prior experience supervising junior staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with audit software tools.
