Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Network Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our fiber optic network infrastructure. If you have hands-on experience with fiber optics and network troubleshooting, we encourage you to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fiber optic systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving network issues, including signal loss and cable damage.
  • Operate splicing machines, OTDR, power meters, and other testing tools to evaluate fiber integrity and network performance.
  • Collaborate with the network team to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of any issues.
  • Support in network infrastructure upgrades and repairs.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in telecommunications, network engineering, or a related field.
  • DAE Electrical/Electronic required.
  • Hands-on experience with fiber optic systems and related testing tools (e.g., OTDR, power meters).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in diagnosing network issues.
  • Willingness to work in field environments and under different weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a team and effectively communicate with other technicians and engineers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience operating splicing machines and handling fiber optic cable.
  • Familiarity with network performance testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of fiber network topology and maintenance protocols.
