Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled
Network Engineer
to design, implement, and support secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise wireless solutions (Unifi). This role requires both technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to ensure optimal network performance across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage
    Cisco routers and switches
    , ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Configure and manage
    firewalls
    , ensuring robust security policies and protection against threats.
  • Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot
    site-to-site VPNs
    for secure inter-office and remote connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain
    Unifi Wi-Fi access points
    and controllers for enterprise wireless networks.
  • Perform
    network monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
    using relevant tools.
  • Manage
    IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols
    (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
  • Document network topologies, configurations, and policies.
  • Work with cross-functional IT teams to integrate networking solutions with systems and applications.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational IT policies.
  • Provide
    Tier 2/3 support
    for escalated network-related incidents.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications (Required):
    Cisco Certified Network Associate (
    CCNA
    ).
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    Cisco Certified Network Professional (
    CCNP
    ) or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with
    firewall configuration and management
    (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, pfSense, Sophos).
  • Strong knowledge of
    VPN technologies
    , including site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
  • Experience with
    Unifi wireless solutions
    , including controller setup, AP deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of
    TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
    .
  • Experience with
    network monitoring tools
    (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
