Project Geologist
Location

• Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related scientific discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience

• Logging and mapping geological data (rock texture, mineral identification, structural features).
• Managing drilling programs and budgets.
• Building wireframes for resource estimation.
• Completing resource estimation for public disclosure (NI compliance).
• Working in industrial settings with safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency with 3D geological modeling software (Leapfrog Geo preferred).
• Experience with geodatabase software (acQuire preferred).
• Knowledge of mine planning and block model software (Maptek Vulcan preferred).
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to interpret and integrate geological, assay, mineralogical, and metallurgical data into 3D models.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibility

• Perform accurate logging of core and chip samples from drilling.
• Review and mentor junior geologists for quality assurance.
• Supervise contractors for drilling, road construction, and sample preparation.
• Interpret and integrate geological and assay data into consistent 3D geological models.
• Lead geological modeling teams to meet NI and corporate standards.
• Maintain drill hole databases, maps, and exploration records.
• Conduct surface and pit wall geological mapping.
• Collaborate with metallurgists and geotechnical engineers on geological domains.
• Assist in short-range planning and budgeting for exploration and production.
• Advise site management on regulatory compliance.
• Stay updated with geological regulations and industry best practices.
