IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

In this role, you will assist in the
day-to-day operations of the Data Warehouse
, ensuring 24/7 continuous system availability through rotating shifts. Key responsibilities include
monitoring Data Warehouse load jobs
, overseeing new deployments on Informatica and SLJM, and performing
regular backups and restores
to maintain data integrity. You'll handle
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations
, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve system bugs within defined SLAs using tools such as
SLJM, ODI, Oracle, Teradata, and Informatica
. The position also involves ensuring
accurate Data Warehouse operations
for optimal system performance, executing
weekly and monthly backups
via NetBackup as per departmental SOPs, and supporting
space and statistics management plans
on Teradata production and appliance systems to maintain operational efficiency and reliability.

•
Day to day ETL (Extract, Transform, Loading) responsibilities, resolving issues fixing

bugs of production system within the defined SLA, included (SLJM (simple load job

monitor), ODI (Oracle Data Integrator), Oracle, Teradata, INFORMATICA)


•
Responsible for accurate DWH system operations and support for operational

effectiveness.


•
Perform weekly and monthly backups for Data Warehouse Solutions (as per SOP of

Department) using Netbackup. it includes files system backups and Database

Backups.


•
Support and operationalize Space Management plans on Teradata production and

Appliance systems.


•
Support and operationalize statistics collection plans on Teradata production and

Appliance systems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

  • BSc Computer Sciences/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required.

Technical Competency:

  • Teradata & SQL Knowledge
  • Informatica & DWH ETL Operations
  • Linux basic operations
