We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in B2B sales, lead generation, and business development through proactive outreach and appointment setting. The ideal candidate will gain valuable experience in sales processes while contributing to our company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Outreach & Lead Generation

  • Conduct research to identify and qualify potential prospects and target companies
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM systems
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments between prospects and senior sales team members

Appointment Setting & Management

  • Make 50+ outbound calls per day to generate qualified meetings
  • Craft compelling email sequences and follow-up communications
  • Manage and update prospect information in CRM database
  • Coordinate calendars and logistics for client meetings and demonstrations

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly appointment setting targets
  • Track and report on outreach activities, conversion rates, and pipeline metrics
  • Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Comfortable with phone-based outreach and rejection handling
