Junior Network Support Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate will have between 0 to 2 years of experience and be passionate about learning and growing in the field of networking.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage servers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.
- Install and configure new hardware devices for network expansion or replacement.
- Manage and troubleshoot network configurations and protocols.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Work with Linux Ubuntu systems and demonstrate a good understanding of Linux environments.
- Proactively monitor network systems for potential issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth network operations.
Requirements:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with server, switch, and firewall configurations.
- Basic understanding of Linux Ubuntu operating system.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Familiarity with network configuration concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SDN /HDN (Software/Hardware-Defined Networking) and related technologies.
