Job Summary:

Abandoned and Unclaimed Property Consulting, Business Analyst works with consultants and managers in US to extract information from PDF documents, manipulate large sets of data in excel, access and SQL platforms. This role expects to perform data extraction and manipulation using efficient methods through automation and prepare data sets compatible with Tracker software.

  • Proactive status work status update to International / India liaison

  • Prepare reports as per business requirements.

  • Downloading & extracting information from different sources
  • Data manipulation and cleanup in compliance with business rules
  • Reconcile values from different data sources
  • Analyze data from various sources and submit summary reports
  • Help prepare documentation and AUP claim related work
  • Performs quality assurance as required.

Education and Experience:

Any bachelor's degree

Skills:

To perform the job successfully, the candidate should have an advanced level of understanding in dealing with databases, extraction and manipulation. This role demands creativity and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines and good communications is critical. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL and Visual Basic for Applications programming, Internet navigation and research is required. Ability to perform quality assurance review, prepare procedural documents and metrics as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees or tax authorities both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
