Role Overview:

The SAP B1 Techno-Functional Consultant acts as a bridge between business users and the technical development team. The consultant is responsible for analyzing business processes, implementing SAP Business One solutions, customizing through SDK or SQL, and supporting users through post-go-live phases.

Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements from various departments (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Production, etc.).
  • Configure and customize
    SAP Business One modules
    (Financials, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, and MRP).
  • Conduct
    business process mapping
    , gap analysis, and recommend best practices.
  • Prepare
    Blueprint documents, UAT scenarios, and end-user training materials
    .
  • Manage
    implementation, migration, and upgrade projects
    .
  • Provide
    ongoing functional support
    and troubleshooting for SAP B1 users.
  • Assist in
    data migration
    , master data setup, and reconciliation between legacy systems and SAP.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Customize SAP B1 using
    SDK, C#, VB.NET, or UI API/DI API
    .
  • Develop and modify
    Crystal Reports, PLDs
    , and formatted searches.
  • Design and develop
    SQL queries, views, stored procedures
    , and triggers to support business reporting and automation.
  • Integrate SAP B1 with
    third-party systems or web portals
    using APIs or Integration Framework (B1if).
  • Optimize database performance and support version upgrades (SQL or HANA).
  • Coordinate with developers for
    add-on development, testing, and deployment
    .

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of
    SAP B1 core modules
    (Finance, Inventory, Production, Sales, Purchasing).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Crystal Reports, SQL Server
    , and
    SAP B1 SDK
    .
  • Ability to perform both
    functional configuration
    and
    technical customization
    .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with
    B1iF, Boyum, or SAP HANA version
    is a plus.
  • Experience in
    project lifecycle management
    from requirement gathering to go-live support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2–3 years
    of experience in SAP Business One implementation and support.
  • SAP B1 certification preferred (Functional or Technical).
  • Experience with
    ERP implementation methodologies
    and
    SQL programming
    .

Salary:

Permonth 150K- 170K depends upon experience
