We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SQL Developer with a strong emphasis on reporting and business intelligence. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights through reports and dashboards. You will support the development of SQL queries and play a key role in delivering high-quality reports using Power BI and other visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Prepare, transform, and model data for reporting and analysis using SQL and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations.
  • Develop SQL queries and stored procedures to support ETL processes and reporting datasets.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data used in reports by implementing validation and integrity checks.
  • Assist in optimizing database queries and improving performance of reporting solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and dashboards.
  • Support data governance and ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting and data quality.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver insightful and timely business intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau or Looker) in designing and publishing reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, DAX expressions, and report optimization in Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts and basic database design principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
