We are looking for a skilled and responsible
SQL Database Administrator (DBA)
to manage, monitor, and optimize our database systems. This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our business data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server and other RDBMS platforms.
  • Manage database backups, recovery strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Implement and maintain database security, including role-based access and permissions.
  • Monitor database health, availability, and capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with development teams to design efficient database schemas and queries.
  • Maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2016/2019 or higher) and T-SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with backup/recovery, clustering, replication, and high availability solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud database platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
