Position: Senior Bookkeeper (Canadian Client Exp Only)

Time: 05:00 PM to 02:00 AM (Mon-Fri)

Location: Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore (onsite job)

Salary Range: 150, ,000 PKR (based on interview)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed financial statements with thorough analysis.
  • Conduct and review balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Evaluate and interpret monthly financial results.
  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger entries.
  • Approve journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform budgeting and detailed variance analysis.
  • Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Research and recommend solutions to complex accounting challenges.
  • Develop and present KPI reports and analysis on operational and core business metrics.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee inter-company reconciliations and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Reconcile control accounts ensuring integrity and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • ACCA Qualified, Affiliate, or Part-Qualified (with at least 9 exams passed) or Bachelors/Masters in Accounting.
  • 4 years of experience in the accounting field is required of providing accounting services to Canadian clients.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks online and Xero.
  • Familiar with GAAP, Sales Tax and Corporate Taxes.
  • Expertise in Bookkeeping, Monthly Closing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable Management.
  • Excellent English communication both Speaking and writing.

NOTE: the candidate must have strong Canadian bookkeeping experience and solid accounting knowledge, as the role requires passing a technical test and involves handling payroll, GST/HST filings, bookkeeping, admin tasks such as managing taxdome and working under pressure.
