Role Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer with strong experience in and NestJS to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about backend architecture, performance optimization, and API design. Experience with Laravel and eCommerce platforms (such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom platforms) will be a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using and NestJS.

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.

Integrate third-party services and APIs (payment gateways, shipping APIs, analytics, etc.).

Work on database design, query optimization, and data integrity.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning.

Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance and scalability issues.

Requirements

2–4 years of professional backend development experience.

Strong proficiency with and NestJS frameworks.

Good understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.

Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and ORM tools.

Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

Knowledge of Laravel (PHP) is a strong advantage.

Experience with eCommerce platforms and integrations is a plus.

Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a bonus.

Problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

GraphQL experience.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
