Eligibility Criteria:

(CA, ACCA, ACMA) Qualified / Finalist with articles in Audit Firm. Having minimum experience of 5 years in Internal Audit department after articles.

Duties & Responsibilities of Internal Audit Consultants:

1. To ensure smooth and timely conduct of audit assignments and submission of audit reports to CIA

2. To ensure that the report is structured, starting with an executive summary that focus the most critical issue and recommendations for quick solution.

3. The internal audit report must include the objectives, scope, and results of the engagement. Management response must be included, as they are the most referenced segment of the report.

4. Review the management response properly before finalization of the final internal audit report.

5. Assist to prepare the risk based internal audit plan

6. To ensure that the findings/observations should be written in clear, understandable language, explaining each finding, its implications, recommendations and the regulatory applicable standards.

7. To ensure that each recommendation was tied directly to a specific finding, offering clear actionable steps to strengthen the internal controls.

8. To ensure that a report should be precise, accurate and specific.

9. To ensure that the internal audit reports are aligned with enterprise risk management frame works, providing a more holistic view of organizational risks.

10. To ensure that all relevant supporting documents/ evidences submitted by the Supervisors are attached in a sequence along with the report.

11. To ensure that the reports are crucial for ensuring that an organization operates efficiently and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They serve as a tool for management and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

12. Provide written instructions and consultation to the supervisor and respective field audit teams/supervisors.

13. Finalize the draft Internal Audit Report submitted by the respective team leaders and discusses those observations with the head of respective formations (Functional Heads) and submit the first draft report including the response of head of respective formations.

14. Prepare clear, concise audit reports highlighting findings and its impacts as well as Internal controls recommendations to streamline the systems.

15. Follow up the disposal of observations to prepare a follow up report and submit the report to the management/CIA.

16. Keep updated himself with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing.

17. Submit an interim internal audit report regarding the instances of fraud detected or significant violations identified during the internal audit activity for urgent and immediate necessary action.

18. Monitor the audit team/ supervisors and report any instances of non-cooperation by any formation for necessary action, if not addressed by him.

19. Communicate all internal audit related issues to the management after the approval of the Chief Internal Auditor.

20. Finalize the monthly progress report based on the audit party's working.

21. Follow-up to streamline the internal audit mechanism in accordance with the comments/feedback of the field audit teams.

22. Ensure the execution of Internal Audit Plan approved by the Board of Directors.

23. Perform any other work as assigned by the CIA.
