Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant to work for a US company.The General Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. Tasks will include reconciling accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budget preparation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Additionally, the General Accountant will support period-end closing activities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in managing and overseeing daily accounting operations
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and maintaining financial records
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation, processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Knowledge of budget preparation and financial statement accuracy
  • Understanding of compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
