Job Overview:

Emirates Talent Solution is seeking an experienced and versatile Web Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in both custom web development and WordPress. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and modern web animation techniques, along with a strong portfolio of high-performance, visually engaging websites.

This role requires technical expertise, design sensitivity, and the ability to deliver clean, responsive, and SEO-friendly code for corporate, commercial, and real estate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Custom Web Development:

  • Develop and maintain responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.
  • Build custom themes and templates from scratch without relying on pre-built themes.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, fast load times, and mobile responsiveness.

WordPress Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic WordPress websites.
  • Customize themes, build custom plugins, and configure advanced functionalities as per client needs.
  • Manage website updates, content integration, and security enhancements.

Web Animation & Interactivity:

  • Implement subtle, modern web animations (e.g. GSAP, Lottie, CSS animations) to enhance user experience.
  • Integrate scroll-based transitions, hover effects, and interactive UI elements.

UI/UX Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the design team to translate Figma/Adobe XD mockups into fully functional websites.
  • Suggest layout enhancements and interactive elements to elevate front-end experience.

Optimization & Technical SEO:

  • Optimize sites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Implement technical on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, schema markup, etc.).

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Regularly maintain and update websites to ensure performance and security.
  • Debug issues across browsers, devices, and platforms.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in web development with a strong focus on both custom coding and WordPress.
  • Proven track record of building fast, interactive, and responsive websites across different industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in:
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery
  • PHP & MySQL
  • WordPress (Theme & Plugin Development)
  • Git or version control systems
  • Web animations using CSS/GSAP/Lottie
  • Familiarity with:
  • Page builders (Elementor, WPBakery – only if needed)
  • Figma/Adobe XD to HTML conversion
  • Hosting and domain management (cPanel, FTP, etc.)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Professional attitude with excellent time management
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
