The Role:

Oversees daily operations, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the restaurant team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained, resolving any guest complaints or issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and costs, ensuring optimal profitability.
  • Plans menus by consulting with chefs; estimates food costs and profits; adjusts menus.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting staff development, engagement, and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Contribute to the restaurant's growth and reputation by taking ownership of new initiatives and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance service quality and operational excellence.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fine dining or upscale casual setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • In-depth knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, fine dining standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively
