Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic
Procurement Manager
to lead our procurement function for all real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction or real estate industry, with a proven track record of managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from vendor sourcing and negotiation to contract management and supply chain logistics. This role is critical for ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Sourcing & Management:
  Identify, vet, and build strong relationships with a network of reliable suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors for construction materials and services.
• Negotiation & Cost Control:
  Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and payment terms to secure the best possible value. Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or project timelines.
• Strategic Procurement Planning:
  Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project budgets and construction schedules. Forecast the need for materials and services to prevent delays.
• Contract Management:
  Draft, review, and manage all procurement-related contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Supply Chain & Logistics:
  Oversee the supply chain to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to project sites, coordinating closely with site managers.
• Quality Assurance:
  Collaborate with the project management and engineering teams to ensure all procured materials and services meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including vendor information, pricing, and contracts. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and savings for senior management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of
  5-7 years
  of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the real estate or construction industry is essential.
• Proven track record of managing procurement for large-scale construction or development projects.
• Experience in a managerial or supervisory role is required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expert negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, market trends, and local vendor markets in Pakistan.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
