An RFP Specialist will identify and track government and public sector Request for Proposals (RFPs). This role is critical to our business development strategy and involves using platforms like GovSpend, , and other procurement databases to uncover relevant opportunities aligned with our services.

As an RFP Specialist, you will:

  • Proactively search for and identify RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs using GovSpend, , state procurement portals, and other relevant tools.
  • Monitor and maintain a pipeline of upcoming and active RFPs across federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Analyze RFP requirements and summarize key details for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business development, sales, and proposal teams to prioritize opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of RFPs sourced, including deadlines, submission requirements, and agency contacts.
  • Stay current on procurement trends and changes in government contracting regulations.
  • Assist in developing and refining search strategies to improve RFP sourcing efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in RFP sourcing, government contracting, or procurement research.
  • Familiarity with GovSpend, , and other government procurement platforms.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with CRM or proposal management tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement cycles.
  • Experience supporting proposal development teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
