Job Description

We are seeking a talented Shopify Frontend Developer to join our team at our Gulberg location. In this role, you will be responsible for building and customizing Shopify themes, enhancing the UI/UX, and ensuring that websites deliver seamless and responsive eCommerce experiences. You'll work closely with our designers, developers, and project managers to build high-performing Shopify websites that engage users and drive conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Customize Themes: Build custom Shopify themes from scratch and modify existing ones as per client requirements.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Transform design wireframes into functional, responsive, and visually appealing web pages.
  • Liquid Templating: Use Shopify's Liquid language to create custom functionalities and integrate apps.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure websites load quickly, run smoothly, and provide optimal experiences across devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain: Identify and resolve issues, provide ongoing website maintenance, and implement updates as necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time and to specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript​: Strong front-end development skills with a focus on responsive design.
  • Liquid Templating Language: Proficiency with Shopify's Liquid templating language.
  • Shopify Platform: Solid understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including themes, apps, and admin tools.
  • SEO Best Practices: Basic SEO knowledge to optimize sites for search engines.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git for effective collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Headless Commerce and Shopify Hydrogen is a big plus.

Soft Skills
