— someone who can architect and lead the creation of high-performance backend systems from scratch.

The Role: Architect of an AI-Powered World

This role goes beyond maintaining existing APIs or managing legacy systems. You will
design, build, and own
the mission-critical backend services that power our AI infrastructure — from
enterprise-grade security
to
real-time communication pipelines
for autonomous agents.

Your work will directly define the scalability, reliability, and intelligence of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect the Core Engine:
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure backend services that form the backbone of our AI platform.
• Build the AI–Application Bridge:
• Develop high-performance, low-latency APIs that enable seamless interaction between the application layer and AI agents.
• Engineer the Mission Control Plane:
• Create internal systems and tools for managing, monitoring, and debugging autonomous agents in production environments.
• Develop the Connector Framework:
• Build a robust framework for third-party integrations, enabling agents to interact with external enterprise tools, APIs, and databases.
• Implement Zero-Trust Security:
• Architect the entire security model, including authentication, authorization, RBAC, and data encryption — security is foundational, not an afterthought.
• Create the Feedback Engine:
• Design real-time data collection pipelines to track performance and user interaction, enabling automated feedback loops for continuous learning.
• Champion Extreme Quality:
• Establish comprehensive automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, confident deployments.

Our Tech Stack

You'll play a central role in evolving our stack, which currently includes:

• Cloud:
  Microsoft Azure (AKS, Functions, App Service)
• Languages:
  Python (expert-level), Go or Rust (for performance-critical services)
• Databases:
  PostgreSQL, Redis, Vector Databases (e.g., Azure AI Search, Pinecone)
• Frameworks:
  FastAPI, gRPC, or other high-performance frameworks
• Infrastructure & DevOps:
  Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in
  Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  — or equivalent practical experience building impactful systems.
• 8+ years of backend engineering experience
  , with a proven record of designing and scaling distributed, mission-critical systems.
• Strong
  systems thinking
  — ability to visualize data flows, dependencies, and failure modes in distributed environments.
• Mastery of at least one backend language and its ecosystem, writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Deep understanding of
  API design
  , developer experience, and architectural best practices.
• Security-first mindset
  — experience designing secure systems and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• A
  product-driven engineer
  who cares about solving real-world problems and making balanced trade-offs between speed and precision.
