Job Title: Key Account Executive – Shipping & Logistics (B2B Sales)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Key Account Executive to manage and grow strategic client relationships. This role focuses on acquiring high-value clients, nurturing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through exceptional service and tailored shipping solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new high-value clients in bulk cargo, minerals, and industrial sectors.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.
  • Coordinate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Upsell additional services such as insurance, expedited shipping, and land-port integration.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
  • Track sales pipeline and report performance metrics to Sales Manager.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales within shipping, logistics, or supply chain industries.
  • Strong understanding of bulk cargo, minerals, or industrial shipping operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn, and professional sales outreach techniques.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.

KPIs & Targets:

  • Number of new accounts onboarded.
  • Revenue growth per key account.
  • Client retention and satisfaction.
  • Lead-to-deal conversion rate.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Performance-based commission and bonus structure.
