Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer with strong consultancy experience in architectural, structural, and MEP coordination. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of BIM standards, modeling workflows, and Dubai authorities' regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage 3D BIM models across all project stages (concept, design development, tender, and construction).
  • Ensure models comply with authority requirements.
  • Coordinate BIM data integration among architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
  • Prepare clash detection reports using Navisworks, Revit, and related tools, ensuring design consistency and coordination.
  • Generate construction drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
  • Maintain and enforce BIM execution plans, standards, and project workflows.
  • Collaborate with design and site teams to ensure accurate and updated model data throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and the implementation of BIM best practices within the consultancy.
  • Conduct BIM training and provide technical support to team members when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience as a BIM Engineer in a consultancy firm in the Pakistan or UAE.
  • Proven experience in
    villas and medium to high rise mixed-use multi-storey building projects
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
  • Knowledge of local codes and authority submission standards (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of clash detection, LOD standards, and model coordination processes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver coordinated BIM models on schedule.

Reports & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Report to the Manager
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure consistency and accuracy of BIM deliverables.
