We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA) to support our US-based healthcare clients. The role involves assisting providers and billing teams with administrative, clinical, and revenue-cycle related tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Manage patient demographics, insurance verification, and eligibility checks.
  • Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medical documentation.
  • Enter and update patient data in EMR/EHR systems.
  • Support billing, coding, and claims submission processes.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and billing teams.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or relevant healthcare/administrative experience.
  • Prior experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, or as a VMA is a plus.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.
  • Ability to work US hours/night shift and meet performance deadlines.
