Position Overview: Finance Specialist

Turn Up Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Karachi Development Centre. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As a Finance Specialist, you will work closely with accounting, operations, and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial reports, statements, and budgets.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and oversee daily financial transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis, cost analysis, and financial forecasting to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.
  • Assist in strategic planning, investment analysis, and risk management initiatives.

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in financial software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of corporate finance, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Exposure to financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Understanding of cost optimization, financial controls, and risk management.
