Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
BI Developer
with strong skills in business analysis, data integration, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in
Qlik or Power BI
, along with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using leading BI tools such as Power BI and Qlik.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data models, data structures, and data warehouses (e.g., star and snowflake schemas) to optimize data retrieval and reporting performance.
  • Develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data is accurately, efficiently move, clean, and integrate from various source systems into the data warehouse.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning within the database and BI environment.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for data models, ETL processes, and BI solutions to support continuity and knowledge transfer.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of data models and reports to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in BI technologies.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Atleast 2 to 3 years of experience with BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
  • Advanced SQL skills (query tuning, stored procedure development).
  • Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, ADF, Informatica, etc.) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
