We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Data Science team. You will play a critical role in bridging data science outputs with business decision-making by transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. Your work will empower teams across the organization with dashboards, data visualizations, and analyses that guide strategic initiatives.

You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure the right data is available, accessible, and effectively communicated to drive performance, innovation, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with data scientists to interpret models and surface insights through intuitive dashboards and visual reports.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards (e.g., in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) to support business units in decision-making.
  • Translate raw data into clear KPIs, trends, and patterns aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and deliver relevant insights.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from large datasets.
  • Support A/B testing and experimental analysis by presenting results in digestible formats for stakeholders.
  • Maintain data quality and consistency across reports and dashboards.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities or process inefficiencies using data.

Qualification & Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline. Strong background in mathematics is a plus.
  • Fresh - 1 year of experience in BI, analytics, or a related field within a data-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
  • Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment (e.g., e-commerce, fintech, SaaS)
  • Exposure to basic statistical analysis.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Understanding of basic statistical concepts and experience working with data scientists or ML models.
  • Strong data storytelling and communication skills — ability to explain complex results to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
