Informatica Data Governance Specialist (Axon & EDC)

Role Overview

We are hiring an Informatica Data Governance Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Axon and Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC). The role focuses on implementing and maintaining enterprise-wide metadata management and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Informatica Axon and EDC platforms.
  • Configure and manage data domains, glossaries, and metadata hierarchies.
  • Ensure metadata synchronization between Axon, EDC, and source systems.
  • Support business term creation, approval, and stewardship workflows.
  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to drive data quality and compliance.
  • Integrate governance processes with Informatica DQ and enterprise data platforms.
  • Manage platform upgrades, patches, and configurations.
  • Monitor system performance, user activity, and ingestion jobs.
  • Implement and manage user roles and access controls.
  • Coordinate with Informatica support for troubleshooting and enhancements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Informatica Axon and EDC in enterprise data governance programs.
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, lineage, and business glossary processes.
  • Experience integrating Axon/EDC with DQ and data lake platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and governance documentation skills.
