About the Role

We are looking for a motivated 
Junior Data Engineer
 with at least one year of professional experience to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of data integration, database management, and basic cloud/data pipeline tools. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, contribute to real-world data projects, and grow into a senior data engineering position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, building, and maintaining 
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    .
  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets to ensure 
    data accuracy, quality, and consistency
    .
  • Support data ingestion from multiple sources (APIs, databases, flat files, cloud storage).
  • Maintain and optimize 
    databases, tables, and queries
     for performance.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure availability of clean, reliable data.
  • Help document data processes, pipelines, and workflows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
     in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ year of professional experience
     in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of 
    SQL
     and relational databases.
  • Exposure to at least one programming language (Python/Java/Scala preferred).
  • Familiarity with 
    ETL tools
     and concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of 
    cloud platforms
     (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
